Malinska → Cres
waterfront, lunch
A Venetian harbour at the head of a deep bay: waterfront, taverns and ice cream before the crossing back.
Cres town sits at the head of a deep, sheltered bay on the west side of the island, so you sail into it as into a lake. The Venetian waterfront, narrow streets and taverns serving local lamb and fish make it the best stop for a long lunch. About forty minutes from Malinska; in the morning you arrive via Plavnik, in the afternoon you return along the east coast of Cres and Saska.
