Malinska → Krčki most
the arch, from below
Passing under the largest concrete arch on the Adriatic, then Sv. Marko islet and the coves of Omišalj.
The Krk bridge joins the island to the mainland over the islet of Sv. Marko, and its great 390-metre arch is still among the longest in the world. Passing under it by boat takes a minute, but it is the photo of the day — especially in the morning, with the sun from the east. Fifteen minutes from Malinska; carry on towards Vrbnik and the east coast of Krk, or back along Njivice.
